Two members of a radio ministry serving the Khmu ethnic minority recently visited four churches in the remote Laos highlands, where Khmu believers joyfully welcomed the two women in the love of Christ. “They never thought that the two of them would be able to visit the remotest villages and jungles of Laos like this,” said a member of the VOM-supported radio ministry.
The ministry workers recorded video messages from the believers for the other members of the radio ministry, which were a great encouragement to those producing Khmu language Bible programming from outside the country. “It gives me more strength to continue to serve God among my people who I love so much,” said a member of the radio ministry. “It is difficult to present the gospel of Jesus Christ everywhere at one time. Yet, the radio can go everywhere without getting approval from the government officials. Isn’t that wonderful?”
