Two Believers Arrested for Sharing Gospel Tracts

Two Christian men were imprisoned in February for distributing gospel tracts on the island of Sumatra. Andreas Sarno and Bintang Sirait distributed several copies of a booklet about Jesus Christ in a Muslim-majority region near their home in Jambi City, something Andreas has done regularly since his partial retirement five years ago. As the two men took a coffee break, several young men confronted them and told them the booklets were heretical. Members of a radical Muslim group then came and took them to a police station, where they were interrogated and detained for 20 days before being transferred to prison. Pray for these men and their families, and pray that the seeds planted through the booklets will bear fruit, even in the lives of the Islamists.
