Church Leader Says Government Monitoring with Drones

A ministry leader in Cuba believes the government is now using drones to monitor Christian meetings. Tensions between Christians and the Communist government in Cuba have increased in recent months due to a proposed revision to the constitution that would legalize gay marriage. Many believers have publicly opposed the amendment, and Christian leaders now believe Communist Party members are using drones to monitor their sermons and report back to authorities. “Christians have been threatened, there have been more attacks and the authorities have threatened to demolish more church buildings,” a ministry leader said. “Pray for the Cuban church, because we are under strong attack.”
